Fake prophets can perform genuine miracles

By Maxwell Katakamba

I am surprised some people think Makandiwa stage-manages his miracles

In the same article, they even go on to label the televangelist, who runs United Family International Church, one of Zimbabwe's fastest growing churches, as a satanist.

UFIC leader Emmanuel Makandiwa
Now, I am not here to prove to you that Makandiwa is a genuine prophet of God or not. You might also want to know that I am not a member of his church.

But what I want you to know is that fake prophets perform GENUINE miracles! Its that simple. Do you think after Moses turned his stick into a snake, Jannes and Jambres the magicians faked that act? This issue of judging a man by the number or type of miracles he performs should stop!

The gospel according to Matthew explicitly warns us how 'false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.' Thats Matthew 24 verse 24.

I for one will not be surprised when a fake prophet heals someone of AIDS. If that sufferer just places his faith in God's Word, that does it. Actually they are doing it everyday, while committing adultery with married female members by night. They are even raping some, yet they can heal everyone kneeling in the prayer line.

William Branham, described by Wikipedia as 'generally acknowledged as initiating the post World War II healing revival says an angel that came to him told him: 'If you can get these people to believe you, nothing shall stand before you, not even cancer.'

During his time (1909 - 1965) cancer was one of the few incurable diseases.

If you just get to BELIEVE these guys, and see them as vessels of God, regardless of their being false, believe you me, you can be healed. So do not stick out your eyes so much on the issue whether they are performing genuine miracles, or faking them.

Does not John The Revelator inform us that the second beast performed great signs, even causing fire to come down from heaven to the earth in full view of the people?

Fire from HEAVEN and not from hell, mind you!

Those miracles being performed does not certify the prophets in question as rapture-bound men of God. Once again I warn you never to judge a man by the miracles he performs!

In winding this observation, it is also important, and the article will be incomplete if I do not tell you that genuine miracles also follow those that believe in God, not them following miracles.

True prophets do not go one Word to the left or to the right, while fake ones are fascinated by signs and wonders, preaching doctrines of devils
