The Midlands State University Vice Chancellor Professor Ngwabi Bhebe has expressed his heartfelt condolences to the Madziva family following the tragic passing of Kundai Madziva, a Level 1 Semester 1 student in the Department of Media and Society Studies.

According to a statement, the promising youngster "was
struck and killed by a car-in a hit and run incident- while on his way
home; along the Gweru- Harare highway on the night of Monday, 10
November, 2014."
Only last week, Sukirai Marambire , a final level student who was undertaking the Bachelor of Early Childhood Education degree, passed away in another car accident on her way to Chiredzi on Monday, 3 November, 2014. She had completed her examinations and was due to graduate later this month.
