Steelmakers general manager, Alexander Johnson has died.
Johnson together with his wife died yesterday when the vehicle they were travelling heading towards Harare, a Mercedes Benz sedan was involved in a head on collision with another Mercedes Benz going the opposite direction just after Sable Chemicals when travelling to Harare.

Eyewitness accounts say the vehicle travelling towards Kwekwe was overtaking on a blind spot leading to the accident.
When a YaFM news crew arrived at the scene 3 injured people including a policeman were being ferried to Kwekwe Hospital for treatment.
National police spokesperson, chief superintendent Paul Nyati, is yet to comment on the accident.- YAFM
