"All the selected leaders including myself are responsible for recruiting new members willing to work with them regardless o their former party as we are targeting ex-ZANU PF, MDC members as well as anyone willing to work with us in our quest to remove Mugabe rom power," said Svova.

Dr Mujuru was also endorsed as the only PF official leader while awaiting the congress, set for February. Then will elections be held to fill up the National Executive Committee.

Svova added that at the moment the party is working on its constitution which is almost complete and will be debated and adopted at the congress.

Speaking at the meeting, Dr Mujuru said People First is a 'God-fearing party' and will not be into hate speech, nor intimidation.

"We are not going back to ZANU PF as (PF) is a done deal. Who would want to join a party where there is chaos, disorganization, and (continuous) power struggles," asked Mujuru.
