Another Gweru teenager up for murder of domestic worker

As 19 year-old Kudakwashe Ashley Sibanda continues to appear before the Gweru courts from Hwahwa Prison facing charges of stabbing his mother fives times after she refused to give him her money and car, another Mkoba 14 year-old is reportedly being held for killing a domestic worker.

The youngster, whose name cannot be revealed as he is still a minor, stays in Mkoba’s Village 20, where the woman worked.

Sources say the boy locked up the dead body in a room for four days before it was discovered by home visitors, exactly what happened in the case of Kudakwashe.

"Aive Form Two... killed maid kuMkoba 20' four days ago body yazoonekwa nhasi (Tuesday 5 January 2016), ainyeba achiti ayenda kumasowe," said another source, who unfortunately could not add more details of the accident.

Said another informant: "Akabaya maid neSunday manheru akamubayira nebanga kuti anga atumwa kunotenga magetsi e$10 iye akatenga e$7....akabaya maid yacho ine 41 yrs nebanga several times akamuzvuvira mutoilet but akatanga atomugeza ropa.

 Then nezuro Monday akaswera nechitunha mumba akakiya madoors nekuvhara mawindow akangobuda mumba ka1 chete achienda kunotenga chingwa...maneighbours ndiwo akazoreporter kumupurisa wepadhuze coz akanzwa maid achiscreamer ka1 chete."

Informs another Mkoba resident: "Pauya police agwejenura marata kuti atize akatadza akamwa mushonga wemuToilet.  

His condition remains unknown.

Police are yet to give an official comment.
