A Midlands State University (MSU) bursar was on Monday arraigned before the Gweru magistrates courts on allegations of pointing a gun at a security guard employed at his night club.
Ayinos Chiwara, aged 40 allegedly pointed a gun at Enerst Ndebele after he had asked for his salary at the night club premises in Ascot Extension suburb, Gweru.
Appearing before magistrate, Judith Taruvinga, Chiwara was discharged on the first count of pointing a firearm but convicted on the second count of failure to renew a firearm certificate.
He was fined $200 or two months in should he fail to pay the money.

Allegations were that on the 18th February this year, and at seven in the morning, Chiwara was at his night club in Ascot Extension when his security guard approached him asked for his salary. Chiwara however, took his revolver and pointed it at the guard.
The staffer made a police report at Mtapa leading to Chiwara arrest.
When police asked to see the firearm licence they discovered it had expired in April 2014.- ONLINE
